The Chapman Lakes real estate market is focused on properties situated along the shoreline of Big Chapman Lake and Little Chapman Lake. These spring-fed lakes are located just five miles from Warsaw, so residents can easily commute to the city for work, entertainment and shopping. If you want to get out on the lake as soon as possible, there are also many move-in ready homes waiting for your arrival.
Some features that you may look for when shopping the Chapman Lakes real estate market include direct access to the lake, private docks or piers, seawalls and spacious backyards with custom landscaping. There are also some housing developments that enrich the lakeside environment with nearby running streams and mature trees.
The water quality in the Chapman Lakes is exceptional, thanks to wetlands that cover more than 240 acres along the shoreline. Local residents also take pride in their waterways and come together to ensure that the water remains clean and beautiful year round.
Big Chapman Lake does permit all forms of water sports, including water skiing and power boating. Little Chapman Lake is more limited due to its smaller size, but all residents can use the two-way channel to transition between the lakes. One of the most popular activities for locals as well as visitors is fishing, thanks to the abundance of bluegill and bass.
